Our veterinarian recommended this animal dentistry to save one of his teeth. They explained the procedure completely with incredible detail. After a complete moth X-ray they discovered another tooth with an exposed nerve. After repairing both teeth our dog's energy level has increased noticeably. Our nine year old English Springer is acting years younger. We are so grateful. Thank you! If your dog needs dental work use this facility. We highly recommend them.

I had such a great experience here and highly recommend Missoula Veterinary Dentistry for anyone who feels stressed about leaving their dog at the vet. We took advantage of the Consultation and met with the doctor prior to making an appointment. I was happy to learn that their exam room is the waiting area and my dog got to hang on the sofa with me while we chatted with the doctor. I love that MVD prioritizes reducing stress for both the animals and the people. And as a result of the low stress visit, my dog had zero concerns going back for her appointment 😊 I also love the option of an actual appointment time, so my dog was back home with me after just a couple of hours! Finally, the attention to detail and patience from Jolene and the entire staff was so appreciated. They answered all of my questions and it was clear that my dog was in great care throughout the whole dental cleaning procedure. It’s obvious that MVD understands and values both the animals AND their humans, and I’m so grateful for the care they gave my sweet Sunny B 🧡

Dr. Block was the absolute sweetest with my overly hyper, and crazy puppy. She got down on the floor with her and showed so much love and patience. You can tell she genuinely cares about your animal. She immediately noticed another issue in my pups mouth and was able to take care of it at the same time. Saved me another trip, more expenses, and future issues. The office ladies were super nice and helpful as well. Everyone was very knowledgeable and made what can be a scary experience, pleasant. Would highly recommend!

Definitely worth the 3 hour drive from WA! The staff took excellent care of our puppy and were so accommodating. Dr Block took the time to discuss all our options and gave honest reviews and opinions about different treatments. She is very knowledgeable and up to date on the latest research and studies regarding pet dentistry. She answered all our questions and addressed all our concerns with patience. We would definitely recommend them as a pet dentist!

My elderly Terrier had a painful abscess on her jaw from an infected tooth. Our vet suggested using Missoula Veterinary Dentistry. Dr. Block was able to get her right in and, after examination, explained the options, the costs, and the pros and cons of different approaches. It was so interesting and all my questions were answered. The day of surgery, we had elected to fix as much as possible due to the age of our dog. We had kept up with her dental issues over the years but wanted to avoid further rounds of anesthesia as she aged. Dr Block, showed the scans of her head and jaw so I could see the issues. I am sure that some of the work helped avoid further dental issues. The most surprising outcome was the change in my dog's behavior. She is calmer and has more energy. I didn't realize how much her oral issues were impacting her happiness and quality of life. The cost was similar to what my regular vet charges for cleaning and tooth extraction. Last, Dr Block patiently taught me how to brush my dog's teeth. It worked and my dog likes it! What a surprise! I highly recommend this practice. We are so fortunate to have these specialists in Missoula!
